I spent weeks trying to figure out how to get rid of moths. First I just smashed them on the walls, but they kept coming! Then I tried bay leafs (I read about them online), but no luck. Then I found pheremone moth traps and many reviews about how effective pheremones are at getting rid of moths.
I bought bird seed moth traps, and put them in the basement and upstairs pantry.
I am sending pictures from basement where bird seed is stored and pantry upstairs where peanuts & birdseed is stored. See the results for yourself!

I agree with Helen. ‘old wives tales’ about getting rid of moths just don’t seem to work (at least not for me).
Pheromone moth traps seem to be the trick.
My family only uses natural products, and with no pesticides or poisons, these traps can sit right next to crackers and be perfectly safe.
